Anytime I'm in Melbourne I eat the precision crispy butter thing (the one on the right has apple pie in there) bestowed to me on the concrete monolith at Lune Croissanterie. The American Doughnut Kitchen van at Queen Victoria Market reminds me of being a kid, as does semolina porridge (thanks, Alimentari). Cake at Beatrix, Market Lane Coffee, another walk around the market – these are all good things to do in a whirlwind trip.
